“I have always believed in Jesus Christ, I feel I was born having this belief as I cannot remember not ever believing.
I know he is our Saviour and redeemer, that He has taken upon Him the sins of this world in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross. That through our Saviour, Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven of our sins and mistakes and can and will be resurrected.
I love the beautiful message of the Bible. It was this belief in Jesus Christ that led me to study and learn of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I believe that the true gospel of Jesus Christ is found in this church.
It makes sense to me that we should have a prophet on the earth at this time, that President Russell M Nelson is our mouthpiece for the Lord to all nations. If God loves us, it makes sense that we will need loving guidance from Him which is available to us all.
It makes sense to me that the priesthood power that was had in bible times needed to be restored on the earth in its fullness. I believe this happened through the prophet Joseph Smith.
I believe that God, our loving Heavenly Father, would have a plan for all people. The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, bears witness of God’s love.
I first studied this inspired book when I was 14 years old and I have continued to study it. I know it to contain the true and pure words of God. I have felt the spirit testify to me of its truthfulness. It has strengthened my testimony of Jesus Christ, has comforted me in times of darkness, has helped me make decisions and overcome conflict.
I am so grateful to know of these as we live in a troubled world. I share this testimony with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
