2024 is the 50th Anniversary of the Bournemouth Meetinghouse being opened and dedicated.
The first use of the building was in February 1974, on Sunday 3 Auxiliary meetings were held in the building. A week later on Sunday 10 the first Sacrament meeting was held for members of the Bournemouth Ward.

The meetinghouse was dedicated by President Reg Littlecott on Thursday 17 October 1974.
