Commencing Sunday 3 December, this initiative aims to extend a helping hand to those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. We kindly request your assistance in disseminating this information to your members and friends to ensure broad awareness and participation.
What is it?: This is a series of 6 sessions (online) on post-traumatic stress disorder.
What is post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): PTSD is an anxiety condition caused by very stressful, frightening or
distressing events. Early intervention and support from family and close friends can help those suffering from PTSD. In this
forum, participants will have an opportunity to share with each other and learn from mental health professionals about
what causes PTSD, what are the most common symptoms and how to cope with it.

Who can attend?: Ukrainian people inside or outside of Ukraine impacted by the war, or family and friends who want to learn how to support them
When?: December 3, 10 & 17/ January 7, 14 & 21
