As you will already be aware, on Monday 8th May there will be an extra Bank Holiday as part of the celebrations for the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty the Queen Consort. On that day all members of the public throughout the UK are invited to take part in “The Big Help Out” by volunteering to lend a hand and make a change in the community.
There are various resources available to take part. There is a dedicated The Big Help Out website, https://thebighelpout.org.uk, where from 20th March there will be a list of opportunities on offer and ways for individuals and groups to help. There are also volunteering opportunities listed on www.justserve.org.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join with the rest of the nation and work together with others to make a difference in your community.
