Prior to my baptism, my world was quite dark spiritually and emotionally. I had reached out to God at times but didn’t yet have a testimony of God’s love.
I came to know of God’s love through a sacred blessing on my journey towards baptism, where the light suddenly became clear and bright.
Throughout the last few years, I have found situations and opportunities to draw closer to my Heavenly Father and my Saviour. Suddenly, having to rely almost solely on them and be more self reliant for my spiritual well being has made my relationship with Them grow stronger.
I know they live. I know the Holy Ghost is real and the power He has to heal and bless us through the Saviour’s Atonement is real.
I know my Saviour knows my every thought and feeling and will always provide a way for me to have the peace and comfort I seek, if I have faith and trust His voice.
I know He and His Father walk with me each day and by looking for their hand in my life, and following them, I can have greater peace and joy. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
